Welcome to the Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground
We can officially open the campground on Friday, May 22 in time for you to spend Memorial Day Weekend with us! Make your reservation online today. We will take all necessary precautions to make your stay as safe as possible, sanitizing showers and restrooms, keeping social distancing. Our campground store and office will remain closed at this time, please call or email us with any questions during your stay. Please help us by following social distancing guidelines and do not camp if you are sick.
We would like to thank everyone for their support during these tough times, and we look forward to seeing you!
Our office, lobby, museum and camp store will remain closed until further notice. Visit our FB page for regular updates. Mobile check-in now available! When you book a campsite through our reservation system, you will be sent a QR code via your phone check-in virtually, after hours and no need to check-in inside the office. One more way we are observing the social distancing guidelines.
You can still make online reservations and email us if you have a group or organization that loves to camp and get outdoors. We love hosting large groups at the park such as the Indiana Bus Club Camping Invasion #1 that came out last year. You can reserve your own section of the campground and throw a party for all of your friends and members of your club. Class reunions, running clubs, hiking groups, family reunions, birthday parties...Bill Monroe Campground is a great place to have a fun time for the day or the weekend! Call the park office to reserve your group camping experience for 2020.
Known for some of the best bluegrass festivals in the country, the historic Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground is also one of the largest campgrounds in southern Indiana. The campground offers sites with water/electric, fire rings, picnic tables and is pet friendly. In addition to the camp sites, we have rustic and primitive cabins, 2 recreational campers and a home available to rent. The park is located just 5 miles from the town of Nashville, Indiana. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy throughout the day - mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, shopping, dining, live entertainment and the largest park in Indiana - Brown County State Park.
The family will enjoy exploring our 55 acres, fish in Pastor Baggett Lake or bring your non-motorized boat. We have an on-site camp store to purchase firewood.
Festival News Update!
The 10th annual John Hartford Memorial Festival scheduled for May 27 - 30, 2020 has been rescheduled to September 30-October 3, 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak. With the health and wellness of their festival family in mind, they felt the best option was to postpone the event until this fall. Making this decision now will allow them time to plan and keep as much of the festival lineup in tact as possible. READ MORE...
The Bean Blossom Southern Gospel Jubilee has been postponed until July 15-17, 2021.
