How we are addressing the needs of COVID19 for our upcoming festivals and events

We have put together a Festival Health Procedures & Guidelines packet for all of our upcoming festival at Bill Monroe Music Park. We are encouraging safe practices and helping to protect the staff, volunteers, bands, campers, vendors and attendees/patrons, allowing everyone to feel more comfortable attending outdoor events at Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground. Click here to read them now..

Do you have a group or organization that loves to camp and get outdoors? We love hosting large groups at the park such as the Indiana Bus Club Camping Invasion #1 that came out last year. You can reserve your own section of the campground and throw a party for all of your friends and members of your club. Class reunions, running clubs, hiking groups, family reunions, birthday parties...Bill Monroe Campground is a great place to have a fun time for the day or the weekend! Call the park office to reserve your group camping experience for 2020.

Known for some of the best bluegrass festivals in the country, the historic Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground is also one of  the largest campgrounds in southern Indiana. The campground offers sites with water/electric, fire rings, picnic tables and is pet friendly. In addition to the camp sites, we have rustic and primitive cabins, 2 recreational campers and a home available to rent. The park is located just 5 miles from the town of Nashville, Indiana. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy throughout the day - mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, shopping, dining, live entertainment and the largest park in Indiana - Brown County State Park.

The family will enjoy exploring our 55 acres, fish in Pastor Baggett Lake or bring your non-motorized boat. We have an on-site camp store to purchase firewood.

The 10th annual John Hartford Memorial Festival scheduled for May 27 - 30, 2020 has been rescheduled to September 30-October 3, 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak. As much as the promoters wanted to keep their festival in May, there is still a lot of uncertainty. With the health and wellness of their festival family in mind, they felt the best option was to postpone the event until this fall. Making this decision now will allow them time to plan and keep as much of the festival lineup in tact as possible. READ MORE...

The Bean Blossom Southern Gospel Jubilee has been postponed until July 15-17, 2021.
