Are you ready to sit by a crackling fire under a star-filled night, listening to the sounds of Mother Nature? With over 55 acres, our campground is the perfect place to bring the family and enjoy the great outdoors without the crowds. No frills, no extra amenities to charge for, we provide an old-fashioned camping experience where everyone can have a good time and enjoy the company of other campers.
Go for a hike, fish in our catch and release lake, cook outdoors, bring the bikes and let the kids spend time exploring the outdoors. Our office, camp store, and museum are open, we continue to follow all COVID-19 protocols. Masks are still required while inside the camp store and museum and social distancing is required.

Known for some of the best bluegrass festivals in the country, the historic Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground is also one of  the largest campgrounds in southern Indiana. The campground offers sites with water/electric, fire rings, picnic tables and is pet friendly. In addition to the camp sites, we have rustic and primitive cabins, and 2 recreational campers. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding venue, or a small, more initiate indoor setting, we have a variety of options to choose from. Visit our Wedding Venue page for complete details.

The park is located just 5 miles from the town of Nashville, Indiana. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy throughout the day - mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, shopping, dining, live entertainment and the largest park in Indiana - Brown County State Park.

The family will enjoy exploring our 55 acres, catch and release fishing in Pastor Baggett Lake or bring your non-motorized boat. No Swimming allowed in the lake. We have an on-site camp store to purchase firewood, ice and some small essentials. Explore our Bill Monroe Museum and Gift Shop during your visit, free admission.

FESTIVALS AND EVENTS - 2021 EVENTS, FESTIVALS, CAMPOUTS...

Mark your calendars, save the dates and make your online reservations for our upcoming campout weekends. We are working towards bringing back live music and events, but we can't provide details until we know what the Health Department and the state will allow as the guidelines will be changing throughout the next few months.

It is our hope that by summer, we will have permission to have festivals and events based on capacities and certain guidelines. We may never go back to having festivals as we have known them in the past, but we will be grateful for what we will be able to do moving forward.

You will now be able to book online regardless of whether it is a festival/event weekend or not. There are minimum stays required during our designated weekends. Just a reminder that the park has a No Refund policy for scheduled events, festivals and campouts. If you feel uncomfortable about being around these gatherings, we will be happy to issue you a camping credit with no expiration date.

CAMPING CREDITS: If you have a current reservation for any of these dates, you have until April 15 to let us know that you would like to cancel your reservation and receive a campground credit. After that date, there will not be any credits issued. Please email us at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. NO PHONE CALLS, please.
