Southern Indiana Blues Festival

Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground has been hosting live blues since 1999. The first Bean was held June 11 - 13, 1999 by John Hall who decided to throw a party in the woods of Brown County, Indiana for his harmonica customers. In 2020, COVID19 took us on an unexpected hiatus from live music, but in 2021, live music returned to the park, creating yet another chapter in the life of the blues. Thank you for supporting these amazing and talented blues musicians who made it through tough times. Isn't that what the blues is all about?

We can't wait for our next blues festival, featuring 2 stages of "Nothing But The Blues" live music, vendors, Golf Cart Competition/Parade, and more fun activities. Stay tuned!
