Things to Do in Brown County, Indiana

Make Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground your home base while you discover Brown County! 


Brown County is a mountain bikers dream! Don't miss riding the world-class mountain bike trails at Brown County State Park. The park features over 25 miles of trail systems created by mountain bikers for a good day of riding. Brown County State Park is just 8 miles from the campground. 


Bikers love the back roads of Brown County, Indiana. With the hilly terrain, bikers can ride for miles down hollers and up steep hills for a challenging workout. 


Love to kayak? There are several lakes within an hour of the campground where you can put in and paddle for an hour or the day. Check out Lake Lemon, Monroe Lake and Yellowwood State Forest. If you don't have a kayak, Pathfinder Outfitters offers guided and self-guided canoe and kayak tours. They also offer guided and self guided mountain bike trips and so much more.
